Willow Lake
A Neighborhood in Enid, Oklahoma

The Neighborhood
This area is south of Purdue between Cleveland and Oakwood. The Willow West neighborhood is to the south and east of Willow Lake. (See map below.)
The neighborhood consists of homes surrounding 3 small man-made lakes. Many of the homes back up to one of the lakes - most with small yards and some with docks and fishing or paddle boats.
There are fountains in the lakes and many trees, including beautiful weeping willows.
Here is a silent video to virtually drive through part of the neighborhood.

History
Although I don't know the actual history of Willow Lake (yet) I do remember it being THE neighborhood to drive to see Christmas lights when I was a kid - and it still is. Back then, I think only the first (south) lake was there because the road was just a dead end. Now the road circles around with beautiful homes. We'll add recent photos of Willow Lake homes with Christmas lights soon.
